A jazzed up electric retro 125cc moped and a trip to the seaside.

Over the bank holiday the Firefly team made a trip to the lovely seaside town of Southbourne to deliver a red Bonita retro moped. Since it was a bank holiday we made it a family affair and took the girls too. It was an early start and the girls were very patient. We enticed them with ice cream and a trip to the Portsmouth Historic Boatyard..... maybe the last bit was more for John.

The lovely Caroline and Gary wanted a chrome folding rack on the front which we managed to install before the delivery and our matching red retro topbox finishes off the look perfectly.

This electric retro moped is equivalent to a 125cc scooter, range is 50miles per charge, top speed is 40mph, two power setting so you can choose to conserve power while driving around town or let it rip through the "A" roads. 3000w motor power and a 60vAH quality LG battery. The red is a great colour 🧡

We promised the girls a fun day out and oh boy did we have fun at the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard! When John was younger..... he owned and renovated a World War 1 landing craft so he was like a kid in a candy store. The museum was fantastic for children of all ages (haha), the girls even said that that was the best day out ever! it was very interactive, informative and sympathetically reconstructed.

So it was a successful delivery and a great day out too.
